Katherine Kimm is a co-owner and general manager of WestEast Design Group with her architect husband, Christopher Kimm. Outside of her business duties, Katherine is an active member of the San Antonio community. In this regard Katherine volunteered as a community liaison for international delegation during Commemorative Week in honor of Tricentennial celebration in May 2018; served as San Antonio Mayor’s Korean translator for the Sister City International Conference in July 2013; delivered a testimonial at the Hispanic Contactors Association/Alamo City Black Chamber/Asian Chamber joint outreach event “Business Opportunities for Success”, June 2012; served as the San Antonio-Gwangju delegation relationship manager and translator for Mayor’s delegation to Korea in October 2011
WestEast Design Group begun its architectural practice in 1997 and grew to be a diverse project-type firm with architectural, interior design, and engineering projects throughout the country serving in the higher education, healthcare, and government arena. WestEast Design Group is located at the Pearl and plans are underway to open its McAllen office.
