Lisa Brunsvold
Lisa is the Vice President for Development and Donor Services for the San Antonio Area Foundation and has held that role for the last six years. Fundraising has been a significant part of her professional career for more than 3 decades. She began her career in a tv newsroom before transitioning to telethon fundraising for pediatric healthcare. In that role, Lisa received national recognition for her work with the Children’s Miracle Network and Walmart. She continued to work in public relations and fundraising and has been a leader in political fundraising, independent education fundraising, children’s health and welfare, and social services.
Lisa is a graduate of Leadership San Antonio (Class 39) as well as serving on the LSA Steering Committee (Class 41) and eventually co-chairing LSA Class (42). Her previous volunteer board/committee service includes: National Charity League, Kappa Alpha Theta Alumni, American Heart Association, Cattle Barons Ball, American Cancer Society, Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi Alumni Association, and numerous Chamber of Commerce committee assignments.
She is a proud native-Texan, and a San Antonio resident for more than 20 years. Lisa and her husband Paul have two daughters and two very emotionally needy dogs.
