For Ayshia Dillard, dance has never been performing well or being seen. It has been one of the ways she expresses gratitude for the gifts God has given her and one of the ways she pours love back into the community. She believes deeply in using her talents to uplift others, bring people together, and create moments that stay with them long after the music ends. Giving back has always meant a great deal to Ayshia. Whether serving with the San Antonio Food Bank, taking part in community wellness efforts through Northwest Vista College, or sharing her love of dance through teaching and mentorship, she has always looked for ways to serve with humility and purpose. These experiences have shaped her heart and reminded her that even small acts of kindness can make a real difference in someone’s life. Ayshia’s faith is at the center of everything she does. Proverbs 3:5-6 is especially meaningful to her: “Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will make your paths straight.” This verse has carried her through seasons of uncertainty and reminded her to trust God fully, even when she cannot see the whole picture. She believes that every blessing is meant to be shared and that God calls us to use what we have to serve others with love and intention. Ayshia is honored to be part of an event that celebrates the true goodness of God. More than anything, she hopes it reminds others that when people come together with open hearts, beautiful things can happen!
