Pastor Emma Marie Alexander

Overseer Emma Marie Alexander was born in Misawa, Japan, while her father was stationed in the Air Force.  Her late mother Marie, implanted in her the gift of love of God and His people, while her father, George taught her how to be faithful. George is a resident of Sacramento, California.

She met her husband Bishop Trevor Alexander while they were both stationed in West Germany, in March 1985.  The two were married August 27, 1988, in Sacramento California.  They are the proud parents of three beautiful girls.

Oversee Alexander received her undergraduate education at California State University, Sacramento, California.  She graduated with a Bachelor of Science Degree (Business Administration with minor in Business Management) and her Master of Arts Degree in Religious Studies from the University of the Incarnate Word. She has served as Principal and currently holds a Principal and Superintendent Certification from the State of Texas.

As a fifteen-year Breast Cancer survivor, Overseer Emma learned how to trust God through the valley of the shadow of Death. She has taken her experience through cancer and turned it into a positive by helping other women that have been diagnose with cancer, by walking and encouraging them through their journey.  Overseer is a dedicated humanitarian that has taken several missionary trips to share the love of Christ to those in need.

Overseer Emma is an Educator to her heart. Overseer Emma is not only a teacher to her local congregation, but she has also presented at conference and seminars throughout our nation. Overseer Emma has served in various positions in the Church Of God In Christ.  She has served as Choir Director, Church Secretary, Executive Secretary, Teacher, Bible Band President, Vice-President of the Young Women Christian Council (YWCC), and is currently serving along with her husband as Pastor of True Vine Church and Overseer of the Women’s Department for the Kingdom Council of Interdependent Christians Churches and Ministries, under the leadership of the Most Reverend Dr. David M. Copeland.
