Andrea Nicholas

Andrea Nicholas, is a civil servant employed by the United States Government and has dedicated her 25+ year career to serving children and youth achieve age and developmentally appropriate growth. She believes that education should focus on developing the “whole” student by providing opportunities for cognitive, social, emotional, and physical growth.

Ms. Nicholas is privileged to serve on the Fort Sam Houston Independent School District Board of Trustees as the Vice-President. Serving the school district from which she graduated high school affords her an opportunity to leverage her vision of “every student is a learner, every learner is a graduate, and every graduate is a success” as a daily goal.

Ms. Nicholas received a Bachelor of Science in Occupational Education with a specialization in Management and a Master of Education from Wayland Baptist University – San Antonio.  She is a mentor of Help Raise 1, Help Save 1, member of the San Antonio Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. San Antonio Alumnae Chapter, and Iota Phi Lambda Sorority, Inc. Gamma Phi Chapter, San Antonio, Texas.
